You can check up on Evan over at EvanOlin.com to get the latest updates on tattoo travel and the new shop once he gets the details worked out. We have plan to travel back and forth, so Evan will return for guest spots a couple times a year and we will probably find ourselves up that way a couple times a year as well. Take care Evan! Mark Decker and I are headed to Hyperspace Studios in Marion, Illinois this week. Guy Aitchison and Don McDonald will be starting a collaborative full back tattoo on Mark. We have seen the sketches and digital renderings and they are amazing. I can't wait to see it come together in real life. The plan is for Guy and Don to tattoo Mark 2 days in a row for a total of around 16 collaborative hours.
We are traveling out that way a couple days before the project gets underway for some super special extracurricular activities. We will be out of the studio until Monday April 19th.
We will post updates and pics from our trip soon!

We are an extremely busy, completely custom, tattoo studio and we focus on each customer individually. Do you think you have what it takes to give our clients the outstanding service that they have come to expect from THS?
Thanks for all the great reviews! Keep them coming!
Sunday February 28, 2010
Here is the latest review that was sent to me for Tattooed Heart Studios. I headed over to InsiderPages.com to check it out. These make me smile every time that I read them. Thanks for all of the positive feedback, I am always happy to hear about your experiences here at The Heart. Keep them coming.
Thanks Devon, I will see you again soon!

Evan Olin will no longer be accepting new clients...
Sunday February 28, 2010
Evan Olin will be moving back up North to the Boston area early this summer. We will miss him but he has family in that area and he is ready to move back. His last days here at Tattooed Heart Studios will be at the end of May.
With lots of large projects that still need to be finished, his available time is getting thinner and thinner. If you have a project that you need to finish up, please contact Evan soon and you will be given top priority.
Evan is taking on a very limited amount of new projects at this time. Please do not take it personal if you are referred to another artist, it simply means that he does not have the time needed to dedicate to your project. Of course, he will be available once he gets back up and running up north but he is not accepting appointments or requests for that time period yet. Keep tabs on him by checking EvanOlin.com whenever he gets around to updating it!

Tattooed Heart had a great time at the Off The Map Tattoo Painting Jam
Monday February 01, 2010
All of the artists here at Tattooed Heart Studios attended the Off The Map Tattoo Painting Jam yesterday. We want to genuinely thank EVERYONE at Off The Map Tattoo and everyone who showed up for the monthly Painting Jam; we had such a great time. We met some new faces, caught up with some old friends, we had a fantastic day.
Everyone at Off The Map Tattoo was very hospitable and some very inspiring artwork was taking place all day long. We also gained some inspiration from the "life changing" mashed potatoes at Ann's Bar and Restaurant just about a block away when we finally decided to take a dinner and drinks break.
We plan to travel to more of these painting jams throughout the year. If you want an excuse to get out and paint with some talented and inspiring artists, check out the Off The Map Tattoo website for more details and dates.

A History Of Tattoos
Tuesday January 19, 2010
A History Of Tattoos
Tattoos have a rich history of tradition, dating back thousands and thousands of years. Throughout the course of time, there has always been an important role of tradition and ritual behind tattoos. In the past, women in Borneo used tattoos as a way to mark their skills. Tattoos were also used in the past as a way to ward away illnesses and disease by placing the tattoo around the fingers and on the wrist. Throughout history, tattoos have also been used to symbolize a clan or society as well.
The purpose of tattoos has differed from culture to culture throughout the course of time. Research has shown that the earliest tattoos come from Egypt during the time of the pyramids, although most believe they started much earlier. Egyptians at this time were believed to use tattoos as a way to mark the slaves and the peasants. Around 2,000 BC, tattoos spread to China and then on to Greece, where the Greeks used tattoos as a way to communicate among spies.
Along the way, Japan also incorporated the use of tattoos as well. The Japanese people used tattoos for religious and ceremonial rites. During this era, Borneo women were the artists. They produced the designs that indicated the individuals point in life and the tribe that he was affiliated with. Tattoos were very popular during these days, although infections were quite common. Tattoos were a long way from being perfected, which showed in the way they were done.
Tattoos were shown in the western regions as well, although they weren't well accepted at first. William Dampher, who was once an explorer, was the man who re-introduced tattoos to the western areas. During the year 1961, he brought a heavily tattooed Prince to the area, showing off his tattoos with exhibitions. He made quite a bit of money with these attractions, which in turn made tattoos very popular and well desired throughout London and surrounding areas. Before then, it was nearly 600 years since tattoos had been witnessed in the area.
Chatham Square, which is located in New York City, was the first place to feature American styled tattoos. During the turn of the century, Chatham Square attracted people from all over the United States, especially those with money. A man by the name of Samuel O-Reily set up shop in Chatham Square, becoming the first man to use an electric tattoo machine. In the beginning, the now popular tattoo machine was based on Thomas Edison's electric pin that used a needle point to puncture paper.
The traditional electric tattoo machine features moving coils, a needle bar and tube, which are common components of todays machines. The electric machine was very popular, allowing those who wanted a tattoo to get one at a great price. These machines helped to revolutionize tattoos and allowed the tattoo artists to give tattoos fairly fast as well. People took to this new technology in flocks, making it by far the best and most efficient ways to get tattoos.
During the late 1960s, tattoos really began to take off. They were featured in magazines, television, and talked about everywhere. These days, tattoos are very common, with nearly 1/2 of the population in the United States having at least one tattoo. They are still common with bikers and clans, symbolizing that one is a member. There are millions of designs out there for tattoos, including different color combinations that have helped to make tattoos the phenomenon they are today.
Tattooed Heart Studios is keeping the tradition alive right here, everyday. We are a very progressive tattoo studio, adapting and growing with the ever changing world around us. We embrace a completely custom designing process that focuses on your specific desires for your tattoos.
Here at Tattooed Heart Studios we use a high-tech type of tattoo machine. We use state-of-the-art Neuma Hybrid Tattoo Machines. Neuma tattoo machines were developed by tattoo artist and inventor Carson Hill. They are the latest and greatest technology when it comes to applying skillful, professional tattoos. The Neuma tattoo machines are able to be sterilized and they are made with anti-microbial materials, which means that this is the cleanest and safest tattoo machine on the market.

Minimizing the Pain of Tattoos

Minimizing The Pain Of Tattoos

Baltimore, Maryland Back Tattoo on Fernandez by John Garancheski of Tattooed Heart Studios in Glen Burnie, Md.
Today, here at Tattooed Heart.com, we are discussing pain or discomfort associated with getting tattoos. No matter what you may hear, there really is no way to predict the amount of pain that you'll experience when getting a tattoo. If you arrive with determination and the right frame of mind, it may not hurt you as much as you thought. On the other hand, if you arrive at the studio scared half to death it will more than likely hurt you more than you thought possible.
Tattoos involve piercing into skin, which almost always involves pain. No matter how big or how small the tattoo may be or where it is located, you can expect to feel some pain. The overall amount of pain you experience though, all depends on your tolerance. If you have a high pain tolerance, you may feel next to nothing during the entire process.
When you get a tattoo, the needles will puncture your skin at very fast rates and variable depths. The outline of the tattoo is easily the most painful, as the needles will be used to create a black line that will stand out on the tattoo. This part need to be inserted fairly deeply and carefully to ensure that it's done correctly. The shading of the tattoo normally isn't painful, although it depends on the penetration depth and effect that you desire.
Normally, the pain you feel is a slight burn or scratching feeling. If the tattoo is going to be on an area where there is less bone and tissue such as the wrist or chest, the pain will be a bit more intense. Areas like the arms and legs however, normally aren't that painful. Areas such as these have more tissue and muscle, which will lessen the amount of pain you feel.
Even though some pain is to be expected, there are ways that you can minimize the pain. Below are some tips that will help you deal with the pain.
1. Never show up to a get a tattoo on drugs or drunk. This will thin out your blood, causing you to bleed more. Most importantly, drugs and alcohol will cloud you positive tattoo experience. Instead, show up for your tattoo appointment excited and energized.
2. Always choose a tattoo artist that you are comfortable around. If you have confidence in your artist you can minimize the pain a great deal. Check out our tattoo portfolios and decide which artists style you like and then email us so we can set you up with a free consultation.
3. On the day of your tattoo appointment, show up at the studio with sheer determination. You should accept the fact that the tattoo will take time. Quality work is an art and should never be rushed.
4. If the pain becomes too much to bear, you should let your tattoo artist know immediately. He will allow you to take a break, or stop and come back later. You can always break up your sessions, as some tattoos don't need to be finished immediately.
5. To ease your mind, you could bring your own personal music device. This way, you can take your mind to a different place and focus on something other than the tattoo.
6. If you are getting a larger tattoo feel free to bring some small portable snacks since you might want a small quick snack during a break.
Now you should feel like you are better prepared to get your brand new tattoo from one of our experts here at Tattooed Heart Studios. Hopefully we answered some of your questions about the pain related to tattooing. Check out the rest of the helpful tattoo related information on our Frequently Asked Questions page for more exciting stuff to read.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask anyone of our talented staff over here at Tattooed Heart Studios.

Happy New Year 2010!
Friday January 01, 2010
Happy New Year to all of our Clients, Friends and Families -
2009 was a great year here at Tattooed Heart Studios. We gave our tattoo studio a total remodel to provide a more comfortable working environment for our clients and our artists. We gave our website a brand new look to show off our artistic efforts, thanks to the folks over at TattooNow.com. We traveled to countless tattoo conventions and other social networking opportunities to meet new faces and "mix it up" with some of our peers in the tattoo industry. We have had the pleasure of appearing in Baltimore's B Free Daily Magazine on a few occasions, we have had our tattoo work published in many more exceptional tattoo magazines, we won a buch of trophies for tattooing, Evan got his first tattoo published in a magazine, I broke my hand, I abandoned my old nickname "Love", so much crazy stuff has happened this year. We have grown in so many ways and we can't wait to grow some more in the coming years. We have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of great people this year and we look forward to growing these relationships with our clients and all of our friends in the tattoo industry.
Welcome 2010!
We want to welcome 2010 with open arms. We have some exciting projects and ideas lined up for you over here at Tattooed Heart Studios. We will be doing considerably less traveling this year as we focus a little more on some of these projects here at the studio. We are still traveling to the Baltimore Tattoo Convention right down the street and to the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention and maybe a few other tattoo related shows over the year. We look forward to continuing to provide the top notch service that our clients have come to expect from Tattooed Heart Studios.
Big News!!
We are currently working with a lab to create a whole line of products for our artists and our clients. This line of tattoo related products will be helping to revolutionize the tattoo industry and how artists serve their clients. Our products are focused on safe, responsible tattooing and we believe that they will be well received by our clients and peers. We are not saying a whole lot about these projects right now but we are getting closer to showing some of the hard work that we have been focusing on to bring you some exciting new tattoo products in 2010. Keep checking back here for more updates early in 2010.
Evan Olin is spreading his wings again.
Evan Olin will be moving back up north to Massachusetts early THIS Summer. If you are wanting to start a tattoo project with Evan or if you are finishing an existing tattoo then you should make the appropriate plans NOW so that you will not be disappointed when his free time runs out here in Maryland. These next 6 months will go by pretty quickly and Evan already has a tremendous workload waiting for him when we return to the studios after the holidays. So, act now, don't wait. If you want to be tattooed by Evan, secure a place in his tattoo schedule before it is too late.
That is all for now. Keep your eyes open. We will be posting more updates on our projects as soon as we are able.
Take Care, Happy New Year!!
-John

We're a Favorite Place on Google!
Monday December 28, 2009
 We're a Favorite Place on Google -
Wow! Tattooed Heart Studios here in Glen Burnie, Maryland just found out that we have been selected as one of the select few businesses to be named a Favorite Place on Google.
Excerpts below are taken from Googles Favorite Place Website -
"Google has identified over 100,000 businesses in the U.S. as "Favorite Places on Google" based on Google users' interaction with local business listings. Each business is receiving a window decal with a unique QR code that you scan with your phone to read reviews, star the business as your own favorite and more.
The list was determined based on the popularity of a business' Local Business Center listing, as determined by how many times Google users looked for more information about a business, requested driving directions to get there, and more. Google users "decided" based on their actions, and we sent the decals.
Over 100,000 businesses were identified as Favorite Places, representing less than 1% of the 28 million U.S. businesses. We believe that our standards for selecting businesses are as selective or more selective than other companies which have run similar initiatives.
More than 100,000 businesses in over 5,000 towns and cities in the U.S. will receive a decal from Google that they can place in their store or restaurant window. This represents nearly 50% of all the towns and cities in the U.S."
- End Excepts from Google favorite Places website
Here at Tattooed Heart Studios we were delighted to get our Google Favorite Places decal in the mail the other day and we stuck it right on the front door of the tattoo studio. If you have a fancy cell phone, stop by and scan us in! Help by writing a review and support this exciting new program from Google.
Thanks to Google, and all of you out there searching, for helping to name Tattooed Heart Studios as one of the Favorite Places on Google!

Choosing Your Tattoo Studio
Monday December 28, 2009
Choosing Your Tattoo Studio-
Once you have made the decision to get a tattoo you'll need to find a qualified tattoo studio. This is a very important decision, as it can easily make or break your tattoo. Before you decide on a tattoo artist or tattoo studio, you must first see if they are qualified. There are hundreds of thousands of tattoo studios out there, some better than others. If you go to a less than perfect tattoo studio, you could very well end up with an infection that can cause you more trouble than you ever thought possible. Finding out how long a studio has been in business is very important as this will help you how much business the studio receives.
When you look for the best studio you should always watch for those who have the best history with keeping their equipment clean. Clean equipment and a clean studio is without a doubt the most important consideration when dealing with tattoos. If the artist isn't licensed or not a professional there will be little to no guarantee that the equipment is clean. Health is a big concern with tattoos for most people, and for good reason. If you are looking to get a tattoo you should always make sure that the artists are licensed, the studio is clean and the equipment is sanitized and cleaned after each and every tattoo.
The best tattoo studios will welcome you in with open arms, anticipating your business. When you meet the tattoo artist, he should be friendly and not intimidate you at all, nor should he at any time attempt to push a design on you. Under no circumstances should the artist try and talk you into getting a more expensive tattoo design if all you want is something small and simple.
Pushy sales and unfriendly salesmen are common pitfalls with most businesses. Tattoo studios should always be friendly and open to what you want. Although the more experienced tattoo artists will offer their opinions, they shouldn't try to push you around. If a tattoo artists thinks there will be a problem with your design or if he thinks he can do anything to improve it, he will more than likely let you know. If he is able to save you some money, the higher quality tattoo artists won't think twice about doing so.
Before you decide on a tattoo studio to do your tattoo, you should always compare what's available to you and weigh out your options. The higher quality tattoo studios will cost quite a bit of money, more than the other parlors. This is to be expected, as the higher quality studios cost more to pay their artists and keep their studio nice and clean. These studios are among the best in the world, with sparkling floors and a clean interior. The tattoo artists here ensure that their rooms are clean, with most wiping down their equipment and materials every chance they get.
The ideal way to find tattoo parlors in your area or close by is to use the Internet and search or just open a local phone book. If you look for the keyword tattoos, you'll find several that are relatively close to you. Once you have found some addresses, simply drive out there and take a look around. If you like what you see, you can always come back. You shouldn't rush your decision but instead look at what each tattoo parlor has to offer you.
What can Tattooed Heart Studios do for you?

No More Love??
Friday December 18, 2009
Most of you have always known me as Johnny Love. "Love" was a nickname that was given to me during my tattoo apprenticeship and is something that has stuck with me throughout the years. The nickname was given to me mainly because it sounded funny when it was yelled across the tattoo shop at me and because most people mispronounce my last name horribly. So, the name stuck and it served me well for a long time.
I have decided that the time has come to say goodbye to my silly nickname. For a long time, I have been weird about my last name because of the way people botch the spelling and the pronunciation all the time. This is something that i am just going to embrace from now on. I want to be proud of my name. I want everyone to know me as John Garancheski III, the name my father gave me. Today is the day.
In the next couple of weeks I will be changing my information on this site as well as my other social networking sites. I may delete some of my pages and start from scratch.
I am not trying to erase the old me. Getting rid of the nickname is just part of me transitioning to a more mature phase of my life. I want people to know that I am not just a goofy tattooer with a funny name. I am now a father, a husband, and a business man and I just want to be known for who I am, you know?

Black Friday at Tattooed Heart Studios
Wednesday November 11, 2009
Black Friday is rapidly approaching. Thrifty and adventurous shoppers are gearing up and doing their homework to determine their money saving battle plans for the busiest retail shopping day of the year. Well, sorry if you are disappointed, there will certainly not be any price slashing sales going on over here at Tattooed Heart Studios this holiday season. Haha. Just the good, clean, custom, artwork that you have come to expect from your neighborhood friendly tattoo shop. We probably won't even be awake at 5am the day after Thanksgiving, when all of you determined bargain hunters will be lined up ready to grab the hottest items and discounts. Whenever lunchtime rolls around and the crazy retail sales have all died down for the day, head on over to Tattooed Heart Studios and pick up a Gift Card for that "hard to shop for" person on your list. Our refillable gift cards are available in any amount so you can blow all of your holiday budget on the ones you love in just one stop.
As always, we are open 7 days a week. Feel free to give us a call, write us an email, or drop by the studio during walk in hours so that we can assist you.

If you need to reschedule an appointment and you have not been contacted, please call or email us as soon as possible so that you can have priority in the schedule. For those of you wanting to start a new tattoo project with Johnny, you are welcome to submit your ideas on the contact page and you will be contacted as soon as possible.

Markuss has uploaded a ton of new tattoo images!
Tuesday November 03, 2009
Here at Tattooed Heart Studios we have just finished uploading a ton of new tattoo photos from Markuss Decker. Mark has been working really hard on some intense tattoo projects recently so here is just a sample. This update includes a lot of crazy tattoos! Mark's highly detailed bio-mechanical stylings, a suicidal rag doll, skulls, lots of colorful flowers, a cannibalistic ice cream cone, and much more ill shit. Head on over to Mark's tattoo image gallery and browse the artwork.
Check back soon for some original fine art that we have been working on lately. More updates whenever we find some extra time to photograph and upload all of the new paintings and other assorted madness that we have been creating!
Send us an email and set up your tattoo appointment NOW for this fall/winter!!
Are you busy getting tattooed this holiday season?
Friday October 30, 2009
The leaves are falling and the air is getting cooler. It is getting to be that time of year again. Take a moment to ask yourself if you are doing anything for yourself during this busy time of year. Well, you should be busy getting sweet custom tattoos from the crew over here at Tattooed Heart Studios! Don't forget, if you are stuck looking for a unique gift for that special person, we have gift cards available in any amount that can be used with any of our artists. Happy Halloween!
Johnny Love has bad news...
Saturday October 17, 2009
I fractured a metacarpal in my right hand on Thursday. I got my hand and wrist twisted pretty bad while I was using a drill, working on my motorcycle. I am okay but it will take some time to heal before I can resume my regular schedule. I am in the process of contacting my current clients who have appointments in the next couple months.
At this point I am not able to take on any new clients. After I recover, all of my time will be dedicated to catching up on projects that are in-progress. I will be starting a waiting list for those of you who do not mind waiting to get your tattoo project started with me. If you want to get tattooed soon, check out Mark and Evan for some fantastic tattoos. These guys would not work in my studio if they were not top notch tattoo artists.
For those of you who know just how much I enjoy keeping busy and working on new projects, you know how terrible this is for me. I am trying to stay positive though, maybe I will take this extra time to visit some art museums or catch up on some other things that don't require fine motor skills.
I will post updates here when I am able to begin rescheduling.
:(
Johnny
Happy Birthday to Tattooed Heart Studios!!
Sunday October 11, 2009
Tattooed Heart Studios just turned 4 this month. We sure have grown since our humble beginnings in 2005. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have contributed to our success over the past years. Thanks!!
Big Congratulations to Evan Olin for his winnings at the Boston Tattoo Convention
Wednesday October 07, 2009
Evan had entered some tattoos in the contests at the Boston Tattoo Convention this year. Evan won first place for the small color tattoo contest on Saturday for the Salem's lot tattoo on Steve's leg and he also won first place for tattoo of the day on Saturday for the Jack Nicholson tattoo from the movie The Shining that he also tattooed on Steve.
Steve, mad props for being such a trooper and hanging in there all day on Saturday, your leg sleeve is coming together really nicely! Hope you enjoyed the lobster dinner, I sure did! I still can't believe that Evan ate those two huge lobsters by himself. He is truly the fattest, skinny kid that I know. Haha
Tattooed Heart Studios is home through the holidays!!
Wednesday October 07, 2009
It is kinda funny because I am excited NOT to be traveling as much through the end of 2009. I am exhausted as I write this, still recovering from the hectic schedule that we have been living the past months. The last month was especially brutal as we were on the road every weekend and still keeping up with our schedule at home during the week. With no more tattoo conventions or appearances scheduled through the rest of the year, we will be getting back to some of the other projects that we have been working on and hopefully catching up before the new year hits us!! Evan and Mark will be doing most of the traveling that we have planned in 2010. I will be staying closer to home this coming year, focusing more on my projects going on here and spending more time with my family.
The Boston tattoo convention was a success again this year! Thanks to everyone who spent countless hours making this event such a huge success. Evan, Mark and I got to tattoo cool stuff everyday and we got to meet and hang out with some very interesting people. I posted some photos of tattoos that I did this weekend. I did a couple more but I got terrible pictures due to the lighting situation so hopefully I can post some of those tattoo photos in the future. Thanks to all of the folks who showed an interest in my tattoos and artwork, I am happy to know that there are people out there that are enjoying how my style is developing. You, the tattoo collectors, are the people who really make these events such a success.
More updates soon, gotta get back to work!

Back from the Paradise Tattoo Gathering
Monday September 21, 2009
Tattooed Heart Studios is getting settled back in at home from the Paradise Tattoo Gathering. We had an amazing weekend that involved so many intense learning experiences. We attended seminars and discussion panels from great artists that we all admire. The lineup included artists like Guy Aitchison, Shawn Barber, Tom Strom, Joshua Carlton, Russ Abbott, Jeff Ensminger, Nikko, Litos, Jeff Gogue, Bob Tyrell, Big Gus, Chris Dingwell, Durb, Mike Cole, Mike DeVries, Nathan Kostechko, Nick Baxter, and so many more.
We had a bunch of opportunities to hear all of these great tattoo artists and painters speak and share their wisdom. We have returned home feeling refreshed and ready to crank out some of the best tattoo work you have ever seen! When I get a chance I will share some of my personal stories over at www.johnnylovestattoos.com.
We want to thank all of the people who came together to make this event possible!! We know that it takes a lot of hard work to pull together such a success of a weekend. I can't believe how much I have learned and changed from the inspiration that I received this weekend in the mountains of western Massachusetts.
Johnny

Tattoo Images of a Baltimore Themed Sleeve
Friday September 04, 2009
I just finished up Steve's "Charm City" Baltimore Sleeve Tattoo and posted healed pictures from a few different views. There is a lot of great Baltimore and Maryland symbolism in this tattoo, you have got to check it out. Featured in the tattoo you will find a Baltimore Oriole, a Baltimore Raven, a Camden Yards baseball field, fireworks, the famous Baltimore Skyline at the Inner Harbor, Edgar Allen Poe, a Maryland Blue Crab, Maryland State flowers Black Eyed Susans, a ship anchor with a banner that says "Charm City", the UTZ chips girl, and Mr. Natty Boh.
Steven is the same guy who has the full torso tattoo featuring Jesus and his hands, roses and the huge detailed rosary on his ribs. Next Evan and I are doing a collaborative full sleeve tattoo on his left arm.
Tattooed Heart in Baltimore B Free Daily Newspaper
Sunday August 30, 2009
We had such a crazy week here at The Heart that we forgot to mention this sooner! On Monday, the front cover of the Baltimore B Free Daily newspaper featured a tattoo done by our very own Evan Olin. The tattoo is of Will Ferrell's character, "Ron Burgandy" from the movie "Anchorman." The story inside contained some good content about tattoos and the stories behind them and also included quotes from Mark Decker and Johnny Love from Tattooed Heart Studios. This isn't the first time that THS has graced the pages of The B. Back in May before the event at the Baltimore Museum of Art, Johnny Love was featured on the cover for a tattoo article called "Body of Work."

Back From Providence, RI Tattoo Convention
Wednesday August 26, 2009
Evan and I are both settled back in from an awesome, long week spent up north in Providence, R.I.. We both had a great time, we got to catch up with some old friends, did lots of tattoos, and worked on some paintings. We laughed, we cried, I even threw up once! Yay, Party.
The Rock the Ink Convention was off the hook! The whole weekend was a huge festival of bands playing on 2 different stages, roller derby, UFC, midget wrestling, grappling matches, and of course tons of dope tattooers and painters. They somehow fit all of that under one roof! It was a very fun experience.
We are all home for the next few weeks, keeping our regular schedules in the tattoo studio. Then, we are on the road and back up north again in September for the Paradise Tattoo Gathering! I can't wait to get back to the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort this year. We had such an enlightening experience last year and it seems that Gabe and the rest off the crew are really stepping up to make this year even better and more unforgettable. Finally, a tattoo convention that we can relax at, see some friends that we don't get to see most of the year, and maybe learn some new tricks. It is bound to be an inspiring weekend. I will be attending a few seminars and I have plans to attend most off the discussion panels. If you are a tattoo artist, an apprentice, a tattoo collector or an enthusiast, the Paradise Tattoo Gathering in Hancock, MA is an amazing event that happens just once a year.
Alright, that is enough for now.... You can read more at www.johnnylovestattoos.com.
Take Care,
Johnny Love
Johnny Love and Evan Olin are on the road all next week...
Wednesday August 12, 2009
Evan Olin and Johnny Love will be hitting the road on Tuesday morning and heading north to Providence, Rhode Island. They will be hanging out for a few days tattooing and catching up with some old friends. Johnny said he might take his motorcycle out a couple days while they are up there just to relax for a while. Then, on Friday morning, Johnny and Evan are off to the Rock the Ink Tattoo Convention for the weekend. They will be keeping pretty busy tattooing at the show but it seems that Johnny might still have some time available for one lucky tattoo collector. It would be best to hit him up early on Friday if you are trying to get tattooed to see if he still has time.
More updates really soon...

A couple weeks ago we put out a news bulletin to let you all know that Johnny was coming into some openings in his schedule.
